Abstract

The circuit measures the amplitude of short duration pulses in a signal pulse train. A capacitor has one electrode coupled through a switch to an input terminal to which the source signal is applied. The other electrode is coupled to earth and the second source signal terminal. A control circuit closes the switch during a portion of each pulse and opens it for the remainder. Accumulated charge in the condenser is then measured on a voltmeter.
