Abstract

The suspension element has a rubber block in which are two fluid chambers. These are in communication to allow fluid transfer in response to deformation of the block. The block may be housed in a cage coupled to a support element. The supported element is mounted to define part of the chamber walls. The supported element pref. includes a passage communicating with a fluid source. The chambers may be connected by passages internally or externally of the block. These passages may house flow control valves.
