Abstract

The wall unit for displaying pictures and shelves incorporates vertical battens (3A, 3B) which act as frames for the pictures and fixtures for the shelving supports. The two ends of the vertical battens (3A, 3B) have notches for hooking them into horizontal metal fillets (1) fixed to the wall. The vertical battens can be moved at will along the horizontal fillets (1). The vertical battens (3A, 3B) have holes (5) in the sides, or notches (6) for fixtures (8A, 8B) for attaching horizontal fillets (7) so that the battens (3A, 3B) and the fillets (7) form a right angle. The battends (3A, 3B) are made of wood reinforced with metal or plastic reinforcements on the back.
