Abstract

The sealing strip may be circular or of any other section and is made up by weaving the material to the section required. The strip may be made of steel wire or asbestos string according to the temperature application and the required elasticity of the material. The woven material allows flexibility of the sealing strip so that any shaped joint may be formed. The strip may be used to cover a core material.
