Abstract

Process comprises (a) printing a grain pattern ont a base material (paper, synthetic resin paper, etc.) (b) thickly printing the duct part of the grain pattern with an ink contg. matting agent (e.g. silica) and thermosetting resin binder (e.g. aminoalkyd resin, urethane resin, etc.) so that hardening type transparent synthetic resin coating (I) (e.g. aminoalkyd resin) to be applied later rises, (c) applying onto the printed face before the printed ink dried; (d) and hardening the ink and (I). Prod. has the appearance of natural wood, in which the duct part looks like dent from every angle.
