Abstract

The arrangement is used to lessen parasitic accelerations in railway rolling stock. The axle groups of the rolling stock are joined by a beam with the body support at its centre. The carrying beam (3) carries near its centre two supports (9, 10) on which are pivoted two parts (11, 12) coupled with the bodies (13, 14) via two flexible elements (15, 16). These allow some body movement on curves and switches. Between the two supports and the parts (11, 12) can be fitted supplementary suspension springs (17, 18). Shock absorption is thus given for relative movement between bogies and bodies in all three planes.
