Abstract

The loaded pallet (10) is conveyed to the wrapping station (12) where it is loaded exactly be the guides (14), by rotation of the pallet in the vertical axis. The pallet is then wrapped by enclosing with some elastic material. The second pallet (20) is brought into position as soon as the first pallel has cleared the wrapping station. The wrapping film is cut from the pallet after bunching at the base. The rotation of the pallet may be varied according to the size and load and the speed of the chain conveyor may also be regulated to accommodate various loads.
