Abstract

Le robinet 10 comporte un boisseau 10 dans lequel est monté un tournant conique 22. Une chambre de sommet 58 et une chambre de base 40 sont formées respectivement entre la petite base et la grande base du tournant et le boisseau. La chambre de base est divisée par un joint d'étanchéité annulaire 48 en une cavité intérieure 42 mise à l'atmosphère et une cavité extérieure 44. La chambre de sommet et la cavité extérieure sont remplies d'un liquide sous pression et la surface d'extrémité découverte du tournant dans la chambre de sommet est plus grande que la surface correspondante dans la seconde cavité, de sorte que le tournant est poussé vers sa grande base. Ce robinet est applicable notamment au transport de suspensions épaisses.
