Abstract
a. Unité de conversion de mode de propagation pour ondes électromagnétiques, lumineuses ou infrarouges. b. Elle comprend une source d'une telle onde, au moins un amplificateur de ladite onde et est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend en outre un premier convertisseur de mode convertissant une onde entrante à polarisation rectiligne en une onde à déphasage azimutal positif de mode TM o en la déphasant proportionnellement à son azimut avec un premier coefficient de proportionnalité donné et dans un premier sens donné et un second convertisseur de mode déphasant l'onde à déphasage azimutal positif proportionnellement à son azimut avec un second coefficient de proportionnalité double du premier coefficient et en sens inverse du premier sens donne, de façon à obtenir une onde à déphasage azimutal négatif. c. Obtention de plasmas très chauds.
