Abstract

The pouch has a flap (1) and has a sealing strip (7) along the top edge (2) of the open side of the pouch. The pouch has a tear-off strip (6) which lies parallel to the top edge (2). The side edges (4a, 4b) are permanently sealed to form the pouch, and the pouch is made from plastic material. The tobacco is sealed into the pouch for prolonged storage.
