Abstract

The shelving system based on modular units, uses rectangular plastics sheets joined together by integral edge connectors. Vertical horizontal connectors integral with the outside edges, form a frame around each modular compartment. These have pointed ends which fit into each other at crossing points. Horizontal sheets have grooved connectors at back and front. The front edge has a single, central, H shaped connector, and the rear edge has an H shaped connector at each end. The central connector on one sheet then locks between the two connectors on an adjacent sheet. This forms continuous channels front and rear, for insertion of the edges of vertical sheets.
