Système de radar secondaire dont le répondeur et la station centrale comportent, en vue d'un cryptage/décryptage des filtres dispersifs complémentaires de taux d'expansion/compression égaux à theta DELTA F1 ou DELTA F1 = 1/ DELTA mu mesure la largeur spectrale de chaque impulsion de réponse de largeur temporelle mu , theta étant au moins égal à s mu / DELTA mu de façon à assurer le chevauchement complet, dans la réponse expansée, d'au moins deux impulsions voisines distantes de s dans le train de réponse initiaL Application aux systèmes de radar secondaire, notamment du type IFF en vue d'améliorer considérablement le secret des liaisons répondeur aéroporté-station au sol.
