Abstract

The ski boot has a hard exterior shell (1) and a supple removable interior part (2). This has inflatable bladders (3, 5) to hold the foot in the boot. Two bladders are located on each side of the foot, at the ankle, and join nearly completely at the back and front. A third bladder (5) is placed under the foot so that the heel is raised. The two side bladders are connected either to an inflation valve (8) or to the third bladder by a two-way valve (9). The bladders are inserted between the interior part of the boot and lining (6).
