Abstract
Cooling system incorporates a connecting line between hydraulic operating equipment for the fan coupling and supply of pressurised fluid, sensors which measure the temp. of the coolant liquid flowing into the engine and distributing valves for controlling the connections between the pressure fluid supply and the coupling operating mechanism. The distributing valves are so controlled that the fan is (uncoupled depending on the temp. of the coolant. Engine further has a general flow circuit for lubricating oil, and the supply of pressurised fluid to the cooling fan operating mechanism is formed by a section of the lubrication circuit. The distributing valves for pressure supply are so arranged that when they are in a first position, the section of the lubricating circuit is connected to an oil cooler.
