Abstract
The solar heating system uses collector units which can be attached to one another by interlocking and securing with screws, the outer units being fitted with connections, so as to form a complete panel. Each section incorporates a length of tube (1) interconnected with a parallel tube by a corrugated section. Each corrugation (13) has the same outside radius as that of the outside (11) of the tube, with the straight part (16) between crests (14) and troughs (15) at an angle of about 20 deg. to the vertical. This shape ensures that the solar radiation is reflected to and fro to a max. degree to ensure the max. heat absorption. This shape can be incorporated in the slats of a venetian blind.
