Abstract

The fixing device is for mounting a small engine (10) on a bicycle. The engine is mounted on a rod and the parts either side of the wheel. There is a flat quadrant (13) joined at one end (14) to the engine. The other end of the quadrant fits on a gusset (15) fixed to the cycle fork. The joint from the quadrant to the gusset is by a bolt, with thread (17) to allow for wheel wear a and can oscillate under restraint of the spring loaded fixing of the quadrant.
