Abstract

A system of dividing an area up by partitions, is combined with a false ceiling structure, the ceiling being divided up into modules, and the spacing of the partitions being controlled by these modules. A system of longitudinal and lateral channels (6, 7, 8) is suspended by stays (14) attached to the roof, and vertical pillows (2) attached to them, carrying the panels. The pillars carry supports (9, 10) at the bottom for height adjustment, and carry plinths (11, 12). Vertical sheets from a grid for the false ceiling, above the longitudinal and lateral top channels. The plinths are height adjustable to suit the floor level, and the roof stays can also be varied in length. The spaces between the top channels are filled in with ceiling panels. Fixing blocks and clips, secured by screws, are used to interconnect the support channels and pillars.
