Abstract

The motor rotor (19) has six teeth and rotates in the housing (14) which has seven internal teeth. The rotor (19), drives the quill shaft (13) which transmits the power to the output shaft (7). A hole (16) extends the length of the quill to equalise the oil pressure at each end. The distributor (10) has two circumferential channels (11) and (12) connected to the oil inlet and outlet (111) and (112). At each end of the distributor there are non-return valves (17) and (18) which allow the oil which has entered between the end face of the rotor (19) and the end cover plate to pass to the port (111) or (112), whichever is being used as the inlet. Thus high pressure oil is prevented from entering the space between the rotor end face and the end cover plate.
