Abstract

Normal flasher interruptors are based on the principle of using a heating wire, actuated by the indicator switch. These are proportioned to handle lamps on one side of the vehicle only. A flasher to handle two or four lamps is difficult to make. The patent uses a small circuit breaker with three terminals, one connected to the battery and the other two to the indicator lamps. The interruptor is glass enclosed and has an indicator lamp and has also moving contacts. It can handle two or four lamps, as required. A switch is provided for either normal signalling or a distress position.
