Abstract

Plastic barrel for beer, wine etc, fitted with pivoting handle. The top of the barrel has annular protrusions in which are two blind holes, into which the ends of the handle are fitted. The top of the barrel is shaped so that the handle can be folded down flat. The top surround of the barrel has two additional pairs of holes so that the barrel can be carried by two people. The handles are fitted to the barrel by spherical pieces on the ends of the handles being pushed into the holes past a restriction. Suitably shaped hook devices can be used instead of handles.
