Abstract

Cpds of formula (I): (where R1 and R2 are H, alkyl or alkoxy; R3 is H, Cl, Br, alkyl, carbalkoxy or CH2OH; R4 is H, Cl or Br; R5=H, (cyclo)alkyl or alkoxy and R6 and R7 are H, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, phenylalkyl or phenyl; or NR6R7 is a 5- or 6-membered ring opt. contg. O,S or N as a further hereto atom) and their acid addn salts are drugs suitable for the treatment of heart rhythm disorders. They may be obtd by reacting amines of the formula HNR6R7 with epoxides of formula (I; where -CH(OH)CH2NR6R7 is replaced by -CH-CH2).
