Abstract

The agent contains 1-25 (5-15) % finely powdered silica, 5-60 (10-50) % of an alkaline earth salt of a natural fatty acid (oleic, peanut, stearic), 30-80 (20-60) % calcined or hydrated magnesia. Particle size of the agent is 50 mu and the dosage is 0.1-1 wt.% (0.6%) for milk serum. The agent improves spray drying rate without affecting soln. properties of the powder in water.
