Abstract

Mounting for an optical instruments, in particular for military applications, uses three threaded studs (1), one of which can be adjusted in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the stud. Each stud (1) has a spherical end (3) located in a disc (3'). The disc is held against a back-plate (17) by a threaded cap (2). The diameter of the disc is less than the inner diameter of the cap, the clean race permitting adjustment. The stud carries an abutment (6) used in the mounting, adjustable by being screwed on the stud.
