Abstract

The perforating or seaming roller is located adjustably on the underside of the funnel sheet where it interacts with the counter roller (24 or 25) through the cutout in the funnel sheet. The perforating or seaming roller is mounted on a swivel lever which can be adjustably moved towards the funnel sheet against the action of a spring and also parallel to that sheet. The swivel lever is pinned to an axle by a guide ring and a handwheel such that the axle is mounted rotatably in two bearing blocks of which one has a smooth and the other a threaded borehole. The design enables an outward directed perforation to be produced and an adhesive line to be applied along a seam groove.
