Abstract

The device can be used by a passenger seated in the seat. There is one part which gives selection of the height of the front of the seat and also one part which gives selection of the height of the rear of the seat. Each part consists of a vertical comb-shaped part and each co-operates with a horizontal finger which is solid with the seat base. Both adjustments are on the same side of the seat, mounted in a lateral slide with the help of springs and crossed torsion bars across practically the full width of the seat. Operation is by handle.
