Abstract

The adjustable spray head for a shower bath, wash basin, etc., has a supply tube over which fits the head portion, closed one end (7) with a set of fine holes (8) one side and a set of coarse holes (9) on the opposite side, the inside of the supply tube communicating with the selected set of holes through a single large hole (12). Between the head portion and the end of the tube is a sloping sealing ring (19) between two conventional sealing rings (15, 16) and a discharge chamber is formed at this single hole between the sloping seal (19) and the innermost sealing ring (16), so that the water is discharged from this chamber through the selected set of holes, depending on the position of the head portion.
