Abstract

Two textile webs are printed simultaneously by sandwiching between them a print sheet having on opposite sides patterns formed by a sublimable dye. The webs and print sheet are then pressed together under heat so that the sublimable dye pass from the respective faces of the print sheet only to the adjacent web whereby to print the webs finally the webs are cooled. The efficiency of the machine is improved since two webs are printed simultaneously whereby the cost of printing the webs is reduced.
