Abstract

The block or unit containing a controllable power supply has current limiters and voltage stabilisation, with an input circuit for A.C. feeding a rectifying network and an inverting oscillator. This latter has a switching transformer and a transformer and regulating circuit. The regulation circuit has a thyristor whose load period or interval operates in parallel with the switching transistor and a resistor sampling the load current demand. A composite circuit feeds the gate electrode of the thyristor such that when a given value of voltage is exceeded the switching transistor is switched off by the thyristor conducting.
