Abstract

The plate (4) has a central circular hole (22) which fits around a boss (10) projecting from the base plate (1). A hinged cover (11) keeps the plate (4) in position by the spring catch (19) which is lifted up in the slot (18) so that it passes over the projection (9) and then is pulled into the slot (8) as the cover is swung into the upright position. The security is further increased by the lever (27) with elastic projections (30) which fit in the upper part of the slot (18) to prevent the catch (9) sliding upwards. To release the harness the lever (27) is pushed outwards and the catch (19) is pulled upwards and the cover (11) is then swung outwards.
