Abstract

The spacer system has indentical units provided for each side. Each is in two circular halves (15A, 15B) inside of light alloy. One half has a half-rounded outside groove (17), reinforced by parallel ribs (18) on each side, for receiving the tubular leg (13). Inside, a 120 deg. sector of a circle is cast in and provided with flat faces, acting as stays. The other half is similar, being also provided with flat faces at 120 deg. and a half-round groove (17) for locating the tubular leg. Both halves fit into each other and are held together by a central pin (16) through them and the respective legs, the pin acting also as a pivot.
