Abstract

The arched frame construction, for elongated buildings covered by roofing material, comprises a row of spaced inverted U-shaped vertical tubes and horizontal connecting tubes running lengthways at right angles to them, secured by the holder members. These are mutually braced together via cable-type connecting members running along the length of the vertical tubes, by means of tension devices, which pref. engage on clamping devices at the bases of the vertical tubes. The holder members may be rings inserted on the vertical tubes, pairs of rings on opposite sides being interconnected by a cable, with pairs of cabls intersecting at nodal points. Assembly and dismantling are simplified, with no screws and nuts needed, and effective wind protection is afforded.
