Abstract

The apparatus permits the control of relative movement between a radiography tube and a film support. It compries a motorised unit with one motor and a transmission which resolves two similar movements in opposite directions. The device permits the construction of an overhanging arrangement on a single lateral support (3) with roller compensation for adjustment of position. Three separate types of movement are possible. The first movement shifts the X-ray tube along the axis of the bed containing the patient. The second movement involves shifting the film parallel to this axis. The third movement involves inverse shifting of the X-ray tube and film parallel to this axis.
