Abstract

Lines of at least two different colour phosphors, carried on a removable transfer film are fixed to the inner face of the tube by means of heat-sensitive adhesive appled by a transfer technique. Pressure is maintained on the carrier film during the subsequent cooling of the adhesive. Polysiloxane resin which is tacky under pressure at room temp. is a constituent of the adhesive with which it is compatible, in a quantity of 1-20, pref. 5-10, wt. %.
