Abstract

Tyre is reinforced by a radial or conventional carcass of glass cords, which are turned back in the flange, in "open" plies, around a sole linkage, so that the cables in the turned-back part are parallel to the traction cables facing them. The flange is madde rigid above the linkage up to the rim by a 1st parallelepiped core of rubber, of Shore hardness above 80, then above this level by a 2nd bevelled rubber core of Shore hardness above 80, adjacent to a 3rd rubber core of Shore hardness 55-60.
