Abstract

The corrugated profile is extruded from a base thermoplastic material opt. mixed with various additives such as expanding agents, and bonded directly to the inner surfaces of two thermoplastic sheets which may be different, by a continuous process. The corrugated sheet is pref. cooled to make it rigid and to retain adhesive quality to the sheets which are then applied on either side.
