Abstract
Fluids are dispersed in one another. E.g. air or gas are passed through tubes, perforated plates, screens or the like into a receiver, i.e. into the liquid vehicle or the dispersing agent e.g. oil etc. so that the emerging streams are subjected to shock waves, vibrations or acoustic waves and broken into discrete particles of regulatable size, pref. of the smallest size.
