Abstract

Covering material for surfaces of buildings, in particular roofs, comprises a weather-protection cover layer 1, such as a PVC or CPE covering, and an intermediate layer 2 between the cover layer and the underlay 3. The intermediate layer prevents the spread of fire to the lower parts of the building, and consists of a non-woven mineral fibre material which is pinned in position. The specific weight of the intermediate layer is around 200-600 g/m2. <IMAGE>
