Abstract

The invention relates to a conveying and collecting unit for ceramic tiles, having a rail carriage (1) on which there are arranged a multiplicity of horizontal, loose and mutually parallel rolls (6) which form a plurality of bearing surfaces, lying one above the other, for ceramic tiles. The rolls (6) are driven by two parallel arms (10) which are provided with lifting and actuating devices (8) for the rolls (6) and can move horizontally and vertically in parallel to one another and together with retaining-head plates (12), which can be displaced on vertical uprights (13), and are able to be arranged laterally beside the walls (3) of the carriage (1), there being provided devices, arranged between the retaining-head plates (12) and a conveying path, for loading and/or unloading the ceramic tiles.
