LA CENIZA PROCEDENTE DEL FONDO DEL HORNO DEL GENERADOR DE VAPOR (10) PASA A UNA TOLVA (14) DONDE UNAS TOBERAS (40) PROYECTAN AGUA SOBRE DICHAS CENIZAS PARA FACILITAR SU ARRASTRE HASTA LAS ABERTURAS (18, 20) QUE DAN ACCESO A DOS DEPOSITOS LONGITUDINALES (26, 28). CADA DEPOSITO CONTIENE UN TRANSPORTADOR DE RASCADORES (30, 32) DISPUESTO POR DEBAJO DEL NIVEL DE AGUA, QUE CONDUCE LA ESCORIA HASTA UNA BOCA DE DESCARGA.
