Abstract
Procedimiento para la separación de mercurio y compuestos del mismo a partir de soluciones acuosas, especialmente a partir de aguas residuales industriales, mediante reducción y filtración, que se caracteriza porque éstas, después de una etapa de reducción, son clarificadas en un estanque de sedimentación respecto de partículas de mercurio y de partículas de suciedad, y a continuación la solución acuosa sobrante es filtrada a partir del estanque de sedimentación con una filtración de profundidad con un medio de filtración del tamaño de granos de 0,02 hasta 2 mm, preferentemente de 0,04 hasta 0,6 mm de diámetro de partículas, y después de ello es eliminado el mercurio mediante retrolavado al estanque de sedimentación a partir del filtro de profundidad y es llevado a separación en el estanque de sedimentación.
