Abstract
Un método para controlar la velocidad de vertido de metal fundido desde un recipiente o vasija de suministro del metal en estado de fusión (por ejemplo, en el funcionamiento de un molde de colada continua), en el cual el metal se vierte a través de un tubo de verter alargado que se extiende a partir de una abertura de descarga de la vasija, método caracterizado por el hecho de impedir el efecto de supervelocidad, por el cual se acelera el flujo del metal tras el llenado completo del tubo de verter con el metal, inyectando para ello un fluido gaseoso al interior del tubo de verter y regulando el caudal de metal fundido a través de dicho tubo de verter, con el fin de desplazar el nivel del metal en el tubo por la sección del gas inyectado.
