Abstract

The cutting tool tip is located on the holder (10) and secured by a pivoting clamp ram (14). The arm extends from a pin (15) which locates slidably in a bore (16) in the holder (10), and tightens and tip (11) when a round nosed bolt (20) advances into a ramp-faced groove (18). The arm may be pivoted to disengage the tip. The round nosed bolt locates in a holder bore which is remote from the tip and step reduces in diameter towards the nose (19).
