Procedure for the preparation of solid compositions carrying active chlorine, characterized in that it comprises reacting chlorine gas with tri-calcium diisocyanutate or optionally, neutralizing dichloroisocyanuric acid with a calcium-bearing compound, preferably calcium carbonate or lime, conducting the treatment at a temperature between 10 and 65ºC and a pH higher than 4.5 and the resulting product separated from the aqueous phase is subjected to controlled drying under a temperature below 80ºC forming a hydrated calcium di (dichloroisocinaurate), with which, in proportion of at least 0.5% constitutes a solid composition with at least one of the usual detergent components.
