Process for granulating polyolefinhomopolymers and polyolefincopolymers suitable for transformation into films and tapes; in a granulating installation consisting of a loading area, a plasticizer area and a discharge area, characterized in that the polymer is first passed at temperatures of 150 to 350ºC, preferably from 180 to 220ºC, to a melt, subsequently homogenizing and bringing the required properties to a constant value depending on the class of the corresponding copolymer by adjusting the volume of the leakage current in the discharge zone through the viscosity of the marginal layers of the copolymer subjected to the leakage current.
