Abstract
An electrical signaling system for diagnosing the state of a plurality of remote sensors comprising a signal transmission path, a plurality of sensors arranged at spaced positions along the transmission path, a respective sensor encoder associated with each of the sensors, the sensor encoder being designed to generate a binary signal according to the specific state of the associated sensor and to transmit a binary signal along the transmission path, the different sensor encoders being designed to generate different binary signals, and a receiver decoder connected to the lines of the transmission path and intended to discriminate between the different binary signals and generate different outputs for demonstration purposes, characterized in that the transmission path (1) comprises a plurality of lines (2) electrically conductive parallels, each one e the sensor encoders (4) have parallel outputs connected respectively to the parallel lines (2) and the sensor decoder (5) has parallel inputs connected respectively to the parallel lines, each bit of the binary signal derived by each encoder being transmitted (4) of sensor with a high or low potential along a respective line (2) of the transmission path (1) and the bits being transmitted simultaneously along the different lines (2), the order being defined of the bits in the signal by the relative position of the lines (2).
