Abstract
A hydraulic pump comprising a stack of parts including a ring part having a contoured bore forming a pumping chamber, a wear plate on one side of said ring part having inlet areas communicating with the interior of said ring part, a pressure plate on the other side of said ring part having exit areas formed therein, a rotor with notches in said ring part having a skid means in the notched portion free to move radially and oscillating angularly following the contour of the bore to bring fluid from the entry areas to the exit areas, means for rotating said rotor comprising a rotary shaft connected to said rotor, support means for supporting said axis, and a container in the form of a cup connected to said support means and which closes said stack of parts and which forms together with them an entrance area surrounding said part of the ring and said wear plate and an exit zone spaced axially therefrom.
