Switch or push button installation equipped with a balance with a light output for a lighting device

The invention relates to an electrical installation switch or button with device socket / switching part with connection terminals for phases, neutral conductors and connected outputs, as well as with a balancm with a light output for a lighting device in a side edge for mounting in a commercial UP device socket (especially according to DIN 49073).

From DE 10 2007 045 578 B3 an electrical switch is known which is composed of a first housing formed from an upper part and a socket with an activation balance whose transparent areas can be illuminated. The luminous apparatus having at least one luminous element is provided with a second housing to be fixed in the first housing. The luminous apparatus is provided with spring loaded contact elements which, on the one hand, are in contact with the luminous elements and, on the other hand, come into contact with fixed contact parts arranged in the first housing, establishing the connection. For this there are corresponding holes in the first housing for the spring loaded contact elements of the light fixture. From DE 10 2006 017 915 B3 an electrical / electronic installation equipment is known which is composed of a socket piece, a carrier ring fixed in the socket piece, a cover frame and a lighting device. The lighting device has an electric printed circuit board equipped with other electronic components. At least one first light conducting element is provided connected in its action to the light-emitting diode. At least a second light conducting element is fixed on the upper face of the carrier ring. With its light modulation zone the second light conducting element is assigned directly to the first light conducting element and with its light decoupling zone it is directly assigned to an existing light output window in the roof frame.

From DE 10 2007 001 850 B3 a switch or an installation button with device socket, balancm and lighting device is known, a light conductor being arranged on the rear face of the balance cm and a lamp holder with a lamp socket with a lamp whose light illuminates a light input surface of the light conductor. The balancm has, at its lateral edge, that with the switch or the installed installation button it preferably indicates in the direction of the ground, a light exit hole that houses a light output surface of the light conductor, so that the floor located under the switch or installed installation button illuminate. In the embodiment as an installation switch with two different positions of the balance, the lamp is only connected in the position of disconnection of the balance, while the lamp remains disconnected in the connection position of the balance. Specifically, the light exit hole emits light preferably in the direction of the ground, however the installation switch or button can alternatively be mounted with a 180 ° rotation, so that the light exit hole emits light in the direction of the ceiling, which in the case of a very clear ceiling, preferably white, causes the reflection of the emitted light, thus achieving the desired floor lighting.

From DE 203 13 428 U1 a lamp is known which is composed of a mounting plate, of a printed circuit board with power supply cables provided with light-emitting diodes and, where appropriate, of other electronic components, of a light distribution disk and a window frame with a light exit hole. The power supply cables are grounded to a connection socket, arranged essentially behind the lamp, in which a transformer is arranged that can be connected to the mains. It is possible to guide the connection lines of several lamps behind a wall covering (tiles, tile mirrors) to a central connection point where a low voltage source (transformer) is installed.

The invention is based on the task of proposing an electrical installation switch or push-button with optimized switching socket / switching element with respect to energy efficiency and light intensity, provided with a balancm with a light output for a luminous device.

This task is solved according to the invention in combination with the features of the preamble of claim 1, thanks to

- that a converter is mounted on the bottom face of the device / switching part socket,

- that the converter establishes contact on the primary side with two connection terminals or components electrically connected to these connection terminals,

- that a LED luminous element is mounted on the balance and a

- that the converter establishes contact on the secondary side with the LED light element through a contact piece.

The advantages that can be obtained with the invention consist especially in that by direct use of the LED luminous element in the balancm it is possible to achieve, in comparison with the state of the known technique, a considerably higher luminous intensity with, at the same time, a much higher performance. on the ground, clearly reducing the danger of tripping. In this case, common device sockets / switching parts in general can be used, in which a converter is fitted on the bottom face. Only the balancm represents a new component to develop, manufacture and make available. The electrical contact between the LED light element on the balance and the converter is carried out by means of guided contact elements in the device socket / switching part that allow the balance cm (LED light element included) to be removed from the device socket / device part. switching without, in this process, it is necessary to disconnect electric lines beforehand.

At any time it is possible to carry out a subsequent modification of the switch or push button for the installation of a device without lighting or of a device with lighting for orientation of a proposed device without problems and economically, it is only necessary to replace the existing balancm with the balancm with proposed lighting in addition to fitting the converter to the bottom face of the device / switching part socket. The device socket / switching piece without the overlapping converter corresponds exactly to the device socket / switching piece like the one also used for a conventional installation switch or button.

In this case, by means of the corresponding electrical wiring, an alternative activation of the LED light element inside the switch and the external light device connected by the installation switch or pushbutton is carried out, so that in the case of an external lighting device disconnected, the LED light element inside the switch is illuminated and in case of an external lighting device connected, the LED light element inside the switch is disconnected.

In the installation switch or push-button it is possible, through the desired choice of the balancm and the cover frame, an elegant union / integration in a program of installation devices or in a program of switches and plug boxes, as well as a combination with other devices, for example, switches / pushbuttons / light reducers / plug boxes of this program of switches and plug boxes.

Figure 1 shows a perspective view of an electrical installation switch or button in the form of an "exploded drawing". The main components of the electrical installation switch or button 1 are

- a socket of switching device / part 4,

- a balancm 9,

- a cover frame 16 and

- a converter 18 (power supply, LED driver) including control and regulation device.

The device socket / switching piece 4 configured for mounting in a commercial UP device socket box has, as usual in general, four connection terminals 5 including detachment buttons of the clamping spring and specifically a connection terminal for the L 230V phase, a connection terminal for the neutral conductor N, a connection terminal for a first connected output and a connection terminal for a second connected output, not existing, as usual in general,

- no voltage at the second connected output in case of applying voltage (with phase L) to the first connected output,

- no voltage at the first connected output in case of applying voltage (with phase L) to the second connected output.

Moreover, the device socket / switching part 4 naturally has a carrier ring 6 and elastic supports 7 for mounting on the device socket UP.

The balancm 9 has, due to its lateral edge, which, in the mounted state of the installation switch or button, preferably indicates in the direction of the ground, a light output 10, preferably including an optical lens, so that the floor that is located is illuminated below the installed installation switch or button. For fixing the balance 9 on the carrier ring 6, fasteners 15 can be used.

This bushing 20 penetrates, with the converter 18 fitted, into a central bore of the switching socket / switching piece 4.

On both sides of this bushing 20 two contacts 19 are arranged in the area of the housing bottom for the primary connection of the converter 18. These two contacts 19 establish the contact in a state mounted preferably between two contacts at the bottom of the device / part socket. of switching 4 that are electrically connected to the two connection terminals 5 for the neutral conductor N and for a second connected outlet covered by the cover section 17.

Through the inner space of the bushing 20 the secondary connection of the converter 18 is carried out in the form of a contact piece 22 inserted between the converter 18 and the balancecm 9 which

- for its introduction in the bushing 20 it has a suitable cylindrical section with contact elements 23 at the end that come into electrical contact with the secondary connection of the converter 18,

- It has a section in the form of plates with contact surfaces 24 that come into contact electrically with the corresponding elastic contact pins 12 of a printed circuit board 11 that is mounted on the rear face of the balancm 9.

In figures 2, 3 two side views of an electrical installation switch or button (rotated relative to each other by 90 °) are shown, fitting (mounting) on both representations of the electrical installation switch or button 1 respectively the converter 18 on the bottom face of the device / switching part socket 4. The carrier ring 6, the position of the connection terminals 5 can be seen respectively including the separation buttons of the clamping spring, the elastic supports 7, the frame of cover 16 and the balance 9 including the light output 10. In the side view shown in figure 3, the cover section 17 is also shown, which covers one of the two connected outlets arranged on the bottom face of the device / part socket. of switching 4 and which, in this case, penetrates bolts 21 into the inlet holes for the conductive wire, which contributes to the torsion-resistant immobilization of the conversion. dor 18 in the socket / switching part 4.

Figure 4 shows a view on the underside of an electrical installation switch or button. It can be seen that although the converter 18 is fitted (mounted) on the bottom face of the device socket / switching piece 4, it is possible to freely access three of the four connection terminals 5, specifically the connection terminal for phase L, to the connection terminal for the neutral conductor N and to the connection terminal for a first connected output. The connection terminal for a second connected outlet is covered by the cover section 17. On the other hand, the carrier ring 6 and the elastic supports 7 of the device socket / switching piece 4 are represented, as well as the peripheral section, which protrudes of the carrier ring 6, of the cover frame 16 of the electrical installation switch or button 1.

Figure 5 shows a side section through an electrical installation switch or button. An LED luminous element 13 is arranged directly at the light output 10 (with optical lens) of the balancm 9. The LED luminous element 13 is electrically connected to the printed circuit board 11. By means of a heat sink 14 arranged in the inside the balancm 9, preferably on the rear face of the balancm, configured for example in the form of a cooling plate, the thermal power generated by the LED luminous element 13 during operation is evacuated to the outside atmosphere.

It is important to conduct current from the printed circuit board 11 through the elastic contact pins 12 and the contact surfaces 24 of the contact piece 22 with its contact elements 23 that come into contact with corresponding contacts of the bushing 20 of the converter 18. The converter 18, in turn, transforms the alternating mains voltage taken through its contacts 19 of the device socket / switching piece 4, into a constant direct current of, for example, 350 mA for the power supply of the LED light element 13.

Figure 5 in particular also shows the central perforation of the apparatus / switching part socket 4 in which both the bushing 20 and the cylindrical section of the contact piece 22 are introduced. In addition, the carrier ring 6, the connection terminals 5 including detachment buttons of the clamping spring, as well as the cover frame 16 of the switch or installation button.

The LED light element 13 itself can be composed of an LED or also of several LEDs, depending on the desired light intensity.

Naturally, other variants of embodiment can be carried out with an alternative arrangement of the LED light element 13 inside the balance cm 9. A fundamental criterion in all the variants of embodiment is the direct integration of the LED light element 13 into the balance cm 9 itself including the Current input required for the supply of the LED light element 13 with the contact piece 22 which allows the balancm 9 of the device socket / switching part 4 mounted to be removed without problems.

As said before, it is a matter of the light output 10 emitting light preferably in the direction of the ground. Alternatively, the installation switch or button can also be mounted rotated 180 °, so that the

light output 10 emits light in the direction of the ceiling, which in the case of a clear, preferably white, ceiling leads to the reflection, producing the desired floor lighting.

Naturally, the invention can be used universally for arrangements in disconnection, alternative switching, tetrafasic star connection and in the case of push buttons.
