Abstract
Un elemento óptico de emisión lateral (3) para un dispositivo de emisión de luz, comprendiendo el elemento óptico un cuerpo cerámico sinterizado de una primera capa (4) y una segunda capa (5) dispuesta sobre dicha primera capa (4), en el que dicha primera capa (4) comprende un material convertidor de longitud de onda, siendo la porosidad de dicha segunda capa (5) mayor que la porosidad de dicha primera capa (4), y los poros en dicha segunda capa (5) están dispuestos para proporcionar dispersión de un haz de luz, de tal manera que cuando la primera capa de dicho elemento óptico se coloca sobre una superficie de emisión de luz de un dispositivo de emisión de luz que emite el haz de luz, dicho haz de luz se emite esencialmente en una superficie lateral (7) de la primera capa (4).
