The invention consists of a device to prevent the perching of birds in unwanted places.

Technical sector

The present invention is part of the protection of buildings against the negative effects of perching and nesting of birds in urban areas.

State of the art

There are many varieties on the market, from chemicals, to ultrasound, networks, electrical repulsion and sharp objects. Some are very aggressive for animals that they intend to scare away, others are even for people and most of them are harmful to the environment.

All these procedures are intended to prevent birds from landing in unwanted places causing discomfort with the droppings they produce.

The fundamental advantages of the invention that we present are

Detailed description of the invention

The device we present is a new mechanical system designed to prevent birds from landing in unwanted places.

The system consists of

- a solid, cylindrical aluminum rod 620 mm long and 5 mm in diameter (Figure 1)

- 19 PVC hollow cylinders, 10 mm outside diameter and 8 mm inside diameter and 30 mm long (Figure 2).
