LA FORMULACION COMPRENDE EL INGREDIENTE ACTIVO DE AVERMECTINA Y UNA CANTIDAD ADECUADA DE ACEITE DE CASTOR HIDROGENADO EN UN VEHICULO ACUOSO HIDROFOBICO FISIOLOGICAMENTE ACEPTABLE. LOS NIVELES DE EFICACIA DE LOS COMPUESTOS DE AVERMECTINA SE MANTIENEN DURANTE 42 DIAS. ANTERIORMENTE LAS FORMULACIONES INYECTABLES SUMINISTRABAN SOLAMENTE 14 DIAS DE DURACION DE ACTIVIDAD, O TENIAN OTROS EFECTOS COLATERALES NO DESEABLES TALES COMO DOLOR E IRRITACION DE LOS TEJIDOS EN EL LUGAR DE LA INYECCION.
